- Jan. 26 - Winter Weather Update: Normal Operations Resume Jan. 27Texas A&M University is resuming normal campus operations and class schedules at its Bryan-College Station campus on Tuesday, January 27. Employees who cannot return to campus due to weather-related events should contact their supervisors to discuss appropriate accommodations. Students traveling from areas with more significant weather impacts should exercise caution when returning to campus and follow standard absence processes in Student Rule 7, if necessary: https://student-rules.tamu.edu/rule07. For campuses and teaching sites outside of Bryan-College Station, check your respective location’s website and look for messages from your leadership for potential impacts to operations, facility closures and weather updates. While temperatures remain extremely cold, roadway conditions continue to improve across the area. Remain cautious, especially on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses, as you return to campus. - Jan. 25 - Winter Weather AnnouncementTexas A&M University is canceling classes at the Bryan-College Station campus on Monday, Jan. 26, due to hazardous road conditions and dangerously cold temperatures. However, eligible employees will work remotely. Employees who perform duties essential to research, clinical services, facilities, utilities, safety or security should confirm reporting protocol with supervisors. All other employees who are eligible to work remotely are authorized to do so on Jan. 26. Employees who cannot perform assigned tasks remotely should affirm their circumstances with supervisors and request emergency leave, as appropriate. Aggie Dining will have modified hours of service. Details about dining hall and retail location hours of operation will be posted online: https://dineoncampus.com/tamu. Bus service will not run. The Memorial Student Center will have modified hours. These will be posted on the University Center and Special Events social media channels: https://ucenter.tamu.edu/. Closures include Rec Sports facilities (https://recsports.tamu.edu/#hours ) and all University Libraries (https://library.tamu.edu/about/hours ).
