Debt Dynamics: Understanding National Debt & How It Shapes Our Future

- DescriptionAt 5:30 PM on Thursday, March 6, Romina Boccia will present on the national debt to students, faculty, staff and the community. The presentation is hosted by the Private Enterprise Research Center and will be held at the Texas A&M Memorial Student Center, room 2406 B. The event is free to attend. Romina Boccia is the director of budget and entitlement policy at the Cato Institute, focusing on reducing government spending and debt through entitlement reform. She holds degrees in economics from George Mason University. Boccia is the author of the Debt Dispatch, a widely read Substack on U.S. fiscal policy, and previously led budget policy at the Heritage Foundation where her work influenced the Trump Administration's 2017 budget plan. Boccia also co-authored A Fiscal Cliff: New Perspectives on the U.S. Federal Debt Crisis.
